Dr. Alex Wee

Alex Wee initially graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School London in 1993. He joined Frimley Park Hospital in August 2006 as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery. He completed his specialist Orthopaedic training in East Anglia, after which he undertook a sub-specialty fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Addenbrookes’ Hospital Cambridge and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. As a travelling surgical fellow, he also trained in foot surgery centres in Minneapolis, USA. Alex is a dedicated foot and ankle specialist who has taught on the ‘Oxbridge’ forefoot reconstruction course and the Stanmore foot and ankle course. He has an active role in the training of orthopaedic registrars and has lectured on various aspects of foot and ankle surgery. Alex has also presented research at the British and American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Societies, and is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.

Dr. Molly Lewen

Molly Lewen, MD, is an attending physician in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Lewen received her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her Pediatrics residency at Boston Children's Hospital, followed by Pediatric Critical Care and Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care fellowships at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Lewen has particular clinical and research interests in mechanical circulatory support and anticoagulation and transfusion practices in the pediatric CICU. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Lewen enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and labrador retriever.

• Currently Full Professor (Professor Titular A) at the Center for Research in Applied Science and Advanced Technology (CICATA), Morelos Unit, of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN)

Dr. Rebecca Moore

Dr. Rebecca Moore is a Pediatric Cardiologist in her last year of an adult congenital heart disease fellowship at Penn Medicine’s Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Moore received an undergraduate degree from Barnard College and attended the Tulane University School of Medicine, where she directed a free health clinic. Dr. Moore completed her pediatric residency at Brown University and her pediatric cardiology residency at CHOP. Dr. Moore has been a medical scribe, a clinical research assistant in an emergency room, and has conducted cardiological research.
